DAY 1
Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Evening game drive

You will have a brief look through the itinerary and thereafter start o the trip. Drive through the Arusha tourism city of Tanzania which is the starting point for all Tanzania safaris. Drive to Tarangire park located in Manyara province of Tanzania. The drive time from Arusha to Tarangire National Park is roughly 3 hours.Check into your lodge and refresh! In the evening drive to the woodland and grassland areas of Tarangire National Park for game viewing. Evening game drive is the best time to see wild animals.

Game Viewing & Departure
Go for early morning breakfast to catch up with quick risers and some nocturnal animals as they return from whole night hunts to retire for the day. Early morning is the best time for game viewing in Tarangire National park when most animals are very active hunting and grazing. Game viewing is best done in the woodland and grassland areas of Tarangire National Park. The Parks spread s on 2850 square kilometers of land composed of ridges, rift valleys,s, and swamps. The park is popular for its annual wildebeest migration where millions of Wildebeests and zebras among other animals are on a move in search of fresh pastures. Expect to see numerous wild animals in the park such as Elephants, zebras, giraes, waterbucks, Dik-dik, Elands, Cape Buffalos, Vervet Monkeys, African wild dogs, Olive baboons, Grants Gazelles, Impalas, cheetahs,Lions, and Leopards among others. Tarangire National Park is also known to have a high density of baobab trees. For birders, Tarangire National Park. The swampy and forested areas of Tarangire National Park shelter over 500 bird species some of which are endemic to the Albertine region.Among the birds in Tarangire National Park include Ashy Starling, Tawny Eagle, Red Bellied Parrot, Pink breasted Lark, Ostrich, Great White Pelican, and Vulturine guineafowl among others.
